This was a short brainstorming thing we had to do that would help us think of what to write about in our biographies on our people from the Renaissance. There were a couple categories, but each of them was kind of just opening up our minds on what to put in the biography. This really helped because it let me get all of my thoughts down, before I had to write them in a nice, neat paper. If you want to see my paper click here!
This is a warm-up we did in class where we had to get a sentence, and it was grammatically incorrect. We had to find what was wrong, and fix it. Then we had to rewrite the sentence and draw a picture of the correct sentence and the incorrect sentence.
This is something we did in class where we had to read a sonnet of Shakespeare's, and we had to basically interpret what we thought each line meant. Then, at the bottom, we had to answer some questions about the poem. We also had to cite evidence and explain.
This was a chart we did on the Benefits an Concerns of GMOs. I put this piece on here because it shows that I can research a subject and fill out a chart about the subject. For this chart, I had to go to various authentic websites and find some benefits for GMOs, and some concerns about GMOs.
This shows my growth as a writer because it shows that I can read a text, annotate it, and then write a report about a character. I am most proud of my appearance page because I think that it was the meatiest, most full page in my report. This piece exemplifies my ability to write a report.
I think that I did my annotations and comments on this piece well because they were detailed, and there were a lot of them. Also, this piece exemplifies my ability to annotate/comment. My goal is to continue to get better with comments and annotations.

I chose this piece to include because I worked hard on it, and had a good time putting this piece together. Also, my favorite character was Florence because she was very strong. As well as strong, she really took pride in the garden.
I chose to put this piece on here because it shows my ability to read a book and do a report on it. Also, I think that I did a very good job with the overall report, and I am extremely proud. I think that I should have maybe explained some parts more thoroughly.
