Welcome to Projects! Here I will be showcasing projects I do in my Language Arts class. There will sometimes be pictures, sometimes videos, etc.
For this project, we had to pick a topic from Medieval Europe out of bag, and do a presentation on it. This presentation had to explain important things about the topic, had to have a map explaining some kind of travel thing that was part of your topic, and we had to include a quiz at the end to test what people learned from our presentations. Also, while we were listening to people's presentations, we had to take notes on another PowerPoint.

This piece was when we were learning about China and the Silk Road. We had to create a moving map that demonstrated what we had learned in the unit by "traveling" through the Silk Road. Also, we had to add things about China we had learned into our travels.
I chose this piece because I was proud of my horse on the front of the card. This piece exemplifies my ability to mix art with language arts for an assignment. My favorite part is my horse on the front because I think I drew the details well.
I am most proud of the title I put on the poster. I did this by drawing the title in glue and putting sand in top of it for a sand title. My favorite parts are the little animals scattered about the poster done by my friend (and amazing artist).
I had a lot of fun with the creation of this project because I love making arts and crafts. Also, I like making things with my hands. If I could change one thing about this project, I would probably add a prayer wall to the inside of the mosque.
This piece exemplifies my ability to write a narrative - type article (or in this case, journal) about a specific thing. I believe I did well on the first two journals because I used imagery to portray the place where I was. I enjoyed doing this journal because I love using imagery.

For this project, we had to make a presentation of the top three reasons why Rome fell, and we had to think of a community service project to prevent America's fall. We had some choices of how we could do our project, and our entire presentation is video. Here is the Top Three Reasons portion, shown in the form of a newscast. Hope you like it!
Here is the first project we did this year. It was called the Utopian Society Project. The Utopian Society Project was where we had to make a "perfect" society. A heaven, all most. Our choices to make it included a model, a drawing, and lastly, the one that my team-mate and myself chose, Minecraft! Here are some pictures of the society we made including our mall, school, and capital building. We even had a Trader Joe's! Hope you enjoy!
